Cedar Creek Lake Fishing Report



Don't forget the Car show and Crawfish boil today at Mabank Pavilion!

Cedar Creek - Water stained; 66-71 degrees, .17' high. Black bass are slow on Texas rigged soft plastics and finesse jigs near docks and shoreline grass. White bass are fair on slabs. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. Catfish are slow on trotlines.

Lake Athens - Water Stained; 66-73 degrees; .58' high. Black bass are good on topwaters, hollow body frogs and swim jigs. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs on brushpiles. Catfish are good on trotlines and prepared bait.

Fairfield - Black bass fishing reported as significantly improved. TPWD discontinued stocking the lake after the fish kill in 09/2011. Redfish survived the kill in limited numbers.

Navarro Mills - Water stained; 61-65 degrees; 6.8' high. Black bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel catfish are slow. Blue  and Yellow catfish are slow.

Whitney - Water murkey; 60-64 degrees; 14.62' high. Black bass and striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie and Catfish are slow.
