FALL EVENTS:

We have two great fall events coming up in the community this Saturday, October 1! 12-10 PM, Oktoberfest at Cedar Creek Brewery, 336 E. Cedar Creek Pkwy. Seven Points, and 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., Gun Barrel City Fall Fest, Lawnmower races, Art, Vendors, Car Show. At Gun Barrel City Park.

Here is the fishing report for 9/25/16 compliments of The Monitor Newspaper.

Water lightly stained; 80-84 degrees; 1.0' low. Black Bass are good on Texas rigged worms and shakyheads near docks and shallow cover. White Bass are good on slabs. Hybrid Striper are good on slabs. Catfish are fair on stinkbait, shallow crankbaits and topwaters.

Water lightly stained; 81-85 degrees; 0.71' low. Black bass are fair on topwaters, white buzzbaits and Texas rigged worms near docks and shallow water. White bass are good on slabs and topwaters. Hybrid striper are good slabs. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. Catfish are slow on trotlines.
